Toy Afternoon

On Friday we opened our toy museum! We invited the general public (our family) and invited them in. We told them all about old toys, showed them fact cards and writing!

Parents: what was your favourite part of the afternoon?

The Toys' Party

We looked at writing stories and making short stories more entertaining. As part of this we made our own gross cake with tomato ketchup, milk, sugar, jam and cornflakes. Here is the making process and the outcome. Can you come up with a simile to describe the ingredients:

Diwali and Bollywood Dancing

For the past two weeks, we have been looking at Diwali and this week we learnt about Bollywood Dancing. In PE, we had a look at some movements that we could include in our dance. Evie went home and developed this further! Her mum has sent me the video and I am sharing it with you as it is so fabulous! Unfortunately, you will need to turn your head ;-)
