Awards this week!

Jamie had an incredible week by winning Writer of the Week for the whole of Year 1 and 2. He also passed his Number Bonds to 10. On fire!!

Bailey had an excellent day and finished it off by winning the Handwriting Award! Well done!

Gruffalo Party!

We had a celebration of our topic on Friday and had such a lovely time celebrating all of our hard work. I'm so proud of you all! Enjoy your half term! Rest, relax and be ready to come back and work hard on our new topic: Toys!

Today we started looking at Venn Diagrams in Maths. We came up with our own ways of categorising our shoes!

Awards Assembly

Charlie got a special mention for her smiley attitude to school life!

Leo got a special mention for a positive attitude to learning and also completed his well done card! Well done, Leo!

Rosie also completed her well done card! Fantastic! Jasmine also completed hers and Jamie-Leigh won the award for best handwriting! Super efforts in Blue Class this week. That's not all...we got the best attendance this week in the whole of Danemill school. Yay!

This week our independent write was a set of instructions showing you how to make a Moving Gruffalo! Our writer of the week is Eveline for a great effort. She used super time connectives as you can see :-) well done!

Our next writer of the week is Leo who worked really hard to make his writing make sense. He also achieved a writing target :-) well done!

More Awards for Blue Class

We just seem to be going from strength to strength! Charlie got an award for Handwriting of the Week. Jasmine won Mathematician of the Week. Aiden and Evie got special mentions too!

Although this didn't happen during school time, Blue a Class were so proud of Evie that we wanted to share this with you. Evie entered a cycling competition and came 3rd. Here is the picture of Evie with her certificate and cycling jersey.
